More e-mails. More questions. For today, I'll answer two questions from Lydia.
Question I: Does everyone around you know that you strip? What about your parents? - Lydia
Answer:
No. Very few people know that I strip. My closest friends know...and you, the readers.
When I first started stripping, I used to broadcast that I stripped to many people. I was younger and dumber and wanted to look cool. Although a lot of people found it fascinating that I stripped, I lost a sense of professionalism as a result. When others have an image of you taking off your clothes for a living, first impressions change and people don't take you seriously. As soon as I realized this, I changed my attitude about this, allowing people to get to know me first before telling anything about stripping.
My parents don't know about it. One reason that I started this blog was to create an outlet to talk about my job. I witness some of the most bizarre and exciting things in life and I can't share it with many people, so I write them down here instead.

Question II: just out of curiosity what do you look for in a woman? like what do you qualities do you like? :o) - Lydia
Here are the cliche qualities I look for in women: Honesty, good manners, classiness, innocence, kindness, and a sense of humor.
Here are the more narrow qualities I look for in a woman: Independence, loyalty, and intelligence. I value independence, because I despise the notion of someone "needing" me to live their life. Loyalty should be obvious. I highly prize an intelligent girl, but only one who maintains a modesty about her intelligence; no one likes know-it-alls.
Here are the exceptional qualities I want in a woman: A high desire for kinky sex such as dressing in latex, wearing boots or heels, getting tied-up, or indulging in some other similar fetish. A woman who likes to invite other beautiful women is a bonus, of course. I have noticed that these kinky qualities conflict with some of the other aforementioned qualities like innocence, creating a paradox. That is true, as I have yet to meet a woman who carries all my favorite characteristics. Oh well...A man can still dream.

Cancelled Show
On Thursday, my agent called me to see if I would do a show for Friday night in a town that was two hours away. This was a college town and the girls were college girls. They also had a unique request: one of the girls, Gina, wanted to see more pictures of me than were provided on the website.
My agent frantically called me and demanded that I send him pics immediately. He also complained that he spoke with Gina twenty times that day and he was starting to become agitated. He said that if she didn't respond to him after he sent the pics, then he would her them off.
Another day passed. It was Friday evening. My agent called me and told me that the party in question finally responded, but it wasn't Gina. Another girl called and said that she wanted to book me within the hour. At this point, my agent was furious and he later told me the whole exchange. "Did you have a friend named Gina who called earlier?" he asked the girl.
The girl on the other line said "yes."
"And she asked for pictures and never called back, right?"
"Yes."
My agent unleashed his fury on this girl. He told her that Gina was supposed to call him back, rather than wait until one hour before the party to do so. He mentioned that there was no possible way I could arrive for an out-of-town show within an hour. He told the girl that Gina lacked integrity and finished with: "Tell Gina to go fuck herself and her mother's dead cunt."
Then he hung up.
My agent called me and apologized for the cancellation. He explained that even if these girls paid four-hundred dollars, he wouldn't have sent me over there. I didn't blame him, because if these girl displayed this type of attitude beforehand, then I could imagine how much worse they could have been at the party.
"I tell ya, young girls think they're entitled to everything," he said in his New York accent. "They're fuckin' bitches. I know this, because I have a daughter in college and she wants every goddamn thing her way--don't worry, you're never gonna meet her, and you stay the fuck away from her. Anyway, these bitches demand everyone to bend over backwards for 'em. Fuck 'em!"

Male Stripper Questions - Part 11
Here's an e-mail from Lydia:
From: "Lydia Chandler"
To: "Dion"
Hello, sorry to bother you. I love your blog btw! Im curious bout a few things and have several questions so I hope you don't mind!
How often do you work out?
What kind of food do you eat to stay in shape?
Do you do manscaping? lol.
How else do you take care of yourself?
Thanks again and keep on writing. You have some interesting stories!
Lydia
-----------------------
Hi Lydia, Here are my answers:
1.) I work out about 2 to 4 times a week. I would like to train more, but I need 8 days a week for that.
2.) As for foods, I eat a lot of fruit. Fruit doesn't have so many calories and it makes you smell better.
I avoid junk food: pizza, candy, sweets, chips, etc. I also avoid eating anything with onions or garlic in it. The smell of onions and garlic will stay in your pores for days, causing you to stink.
3.) Yeah, of course. I don't shave everything off though. I also don't showcase a forest either. I also shave my legs too---the lack of hair shows off muscle tone better.
4.) I try to avoid drinking as much as possible. Sure I'll take body shots at parties, but the amount that you drink from a body shot is minuscule to even cause a buzz. Usually most of the alcohol from a body shot ends up on the floor. Otherwise, I rarely drink even when going out.
I also don't do drugs. I'm sure some male dancers do, but I don't. And the drugs I'm referring to are pot, steroids, etc.
Thanks for reading. I hope that covers your questions.

Male Stripper Questions - Part 10
Question I: Do the strippers often have to go straight on to another performance, if so does that ever feel frustrating, to leave a group of women some of whom are are very excited and would be willing to take it further? - Paul
Answer: Only if we have more than one performance booked. I don't live near a major city, so I rarely have more than one performance a night.
I have done three shows in one night, and that was stressful. I don't get frustrated if a girl wants to take things further and I have to leave. Sex is great, but I'm not going to indulge in every opportunity.
Question II: Can it ever be a lonely job since there’s lots of travelling around?
Answer: I sometimes drive long distances, but I don't get lonely. Besides, how are you going to get lonely when you arrive at a party full of women?
However, the is a "coming down" effect after a great party. For instance, I put on a tremendous show: the girls love me, the tips flow in, everyone has a great time. Then I come home and everything is calm and quiet. I call this "coming down" from the high of a party. I thrive off of the natural high I get from my performances.
Question III: Did you get nervous before appearing?
Answer: I did when I first started. I would get the "butterflies," a feeling in my mid-section that spreads throughout the body and causes a feeling of numbness. After doing a dozen or so shows, the butterflies stopped.
I'll get a little excited now. I've done this so many times that I even yawn before performing, especially if I had a long and tiring drive.
One thing I'll say: If you can do this job, then you can do anything that involves public speaking. Unfortunately, I can't write that on my resume.
Question IV: Is it more about the performance itself than about nudity?
Answer: It's all about performance. Nudity is just an optional part of the performance.
There are a few more questions, but I'll answer them in the next update.

Last Minute Sorority Party
Spring break has arrived, and so have many college students looking for a party.
My agent called me today and offered me a show that involved twenty college girls throwing a birthday party for a friend. The party took place at a rented beach house. Sounds exciting, right?
When I show up to the beach house, I see not only girls walking in and out of the place, but boys too. On top of that, everyone looked about eighteen or nineteen.
I entered the house, went to the living room, and performed the typical cop routine on the birthday girl. Most of the girls, even the birthday girl, in the room scattered throughout various parts of the house. With the exception of two girls, the whole living was empty. Several boys, frat boys to be specific, were watching from the kitchen.
Out of the two girls who remained, one approached me and told me that she hired me. Then she demanded that I bend over so she could spank me. I don't know what it was, but her tone grated on my nerves. Perhaps I became offended because she was ordering me around like a dog. Regardless of the reason, I told her that I didn't want to be spanked at the moment.
She just sneered at me. "You're pathetic," she said.
I ignored that. Then I ignored her for the rest of the night. I went to the other rooms for a last-ditch effort to round up some participation from the other girls, since I was paid fairly well for showing up. The other girls either hid or smoked or drank. Within ten minutes into the party, I only danced with three girls out of twenty. I decided to put my clothes back on and leave.
Several girls assumed that it was safe for them to reappear. They entered the kitchen to get drinks and talked with me a bit. I discovered that everyone at the party was a freshman in college, and the birthday girl turned nineteen. No one offered me anything to eat or drink as they helped themselves. Usually, the hosts of the party would offer some type of hospitality. Instead, these girls asked me stupid questions as I was getting dressed.
"So do you feel lucky to strip in front of us?"
"I bet Melissa was the hottest girl you'd ever danced with, wasn't she?" one brunette asked me with a tinge of mockery in her tone.
I shrugged. I felt that the brunette was suggesting that I was lucky because I probably couldn't dance with any girl hotter than Melissa. The brunette pressed on while her friends watched me.
"So was she the hottest? Was this the first time you danced with pretty girls?" the brunette said. I wonder if she assumed that most of my parties were only full of ugly pigs, or perhaps in her eighteen or nineteen years of experience, she could not fathom what I have experienced.
"Melissa is a pretty girl but--" I began and paused, watching the jaws drop--"I wouldn't say she's the hottest."
No one said anything. They only stared like I had just run into a nunnery and started ravishing all the nuns.
"As for dancing with pretty girls, I've probably danced with hundreds if not thousands of pretty girls before I came here," I said, buttoning up my police shirt.
"How old are you?" one girl asked.
"Twenty-eight."
"I'm twenty-eight too," the girl replied.
"No, you're eighteen. Nineteen at the most," I said.
"Ugh. Like how could you tell?" she asked. "I could be twenty-eight. How would you know the difference?"
This girl was an idiot. She was definitely around eighteen or nineteen; she looked as though she put on about ten of the freshman fifteen. She was on the descent from her prime. Another ten years at this rate would produce the soccer-mom sixty.
"Your behavior. Girls in the twenties go wild with a male stripper--they're fun and they get into it. Y'all just act timid and sit around and drink. Teenagers don't party like women do."
I wasn't angry, but I was irritated. I was irritated at the immature mockery, the stupid questions, and most of all, I was irritated because I had a horrible time. I didn't care if I offended anyone at this point. However, no one said anything. I had just insulted their party and felt better for doing so.
I thanked the girl who paid me before I left. I told her that the next time she wanted a male stripper, she should ditch the boys, loosen the girls up more, and then emphasized the "no boys" part again. I told her that she would have a much better party that way. Like hell I was going to blame this disaster of a party on myself.
Then I gathered my jacket and left. I almost ran into several frat boys on the way out. They avoided me like the plague. I hope I don't ever have to deal with teenagers at work ever again.
