Q: How many women did you sleep with because of this occupation?

A: I can't tell you how many exactly (nor would I give a number if I could), but I'll just say that this job has provided me with more opportunities than otherwise. It's nothing drastic though.

A: Thanks! As for the job, it's not all excitement. Half of the time, I'm driving and looking for the party. That's not very fun unless you enjoy driving for the simple thrill of it.

Like every job, male stripping has several drawbacks. The most common one would be a boring party. Imagine stripping in front of a stiff audience. No one is receptive to you and they won't participate with you. This behavior causes an awkward atmosphere for both you and the girls. Then the girl who paid for you will feel as if she wasted her money. Fortunately this situation occurred seldom and mostly when I was starting out. I learned to adapt with even the most timid of audiences in time.

The second drawback is aggressive women, especially the ones you don't like. Some women, after many drinks, will be forthright with their approach or proposition. While some men would agree that this is a fantasy-come-true, I assure you that this is not always the case. I've had one girl who was slobbering drunk, homely, and obnoxious try to straddle me and shove her tongue down my throat. She became belligerent when I pushed her away. Another time, one girl cornered me when I went to change in the other room, and made a grab for my goods. I politely muttered an excuse and tried to dodge around her, but she was adamant in detaining me. I firmly turned her down and pissed her off, but that was the only way. Some people asked me why I didn't just take such easy offers, but my answer is that I have standards.

One of the worst possible scenarios for my job is the jealous boyfriend. I'm going to settle with boyfriend since husbands are usually older, more mature, and tend to whine less when their wives throw a party. Anyway, the jealous boyfriend would rupture the vein on his forehead at the thought of me in the same room as his girlfriend, not mentioning dancing with her. Such men have tried to pick fights with me, sabotage the party, or just whine and yell empty threats. Even though the jealous-boyfriend's girlfriend was the one indulging herself at the male stripper party, I somehow earn full responsibility for it. He focuses the blame onto me. Luckily, I haven't had to deal with such idiots too often, but it's happened and sometimes the drama is not worth it.

Q: Did any girls get turned on when stripping for them at a party? by Megan T.

A: Some did, and it's not uncommon. You can usually tell when their breathing starts getting deeper and more audible. This usually happens from physical actions rather than visual.

For instance, the party of girls would tuck many dollar bills into various parts on one of their friends: her cleavage, heels, pants, and sometimes in her thong. A: A few times, and were they interesting! I saw a couple of classmates from my college classes at my parties. Their surprise just barely surpassed mine. The more likely scenario though was for people to recognize me in public after a party. That actually provoked some bad situations with ex-girlfriends.

Q: Did you ever strip for a gay audience, or just women? If you've danced for both, which did you like better? A: So what are you doing hanging out at the gay bar in Philly, Dave? Just joking---I'll answer your question.

For private parties, I only stripped for women and I prefer it that way. Sometimes women would have a gay friend or two along, but they would only watch. I didn't dance with the men for two reasons: First of all, I'm not gay; second, that would be out of my comfort zone.

I did dance at a regular night club on two nights of the week: Thursday and Friday. Thursday night was "Ladies' Night" and Friday night was for the gay crowd even though there were just as many straight women in attendance. I danced on a platform with a female partner to add decadence to the club's atmosphere. No one was allowed to touch me, but they could leave us tips. I didn't mind working the first few weeks, but I soon detested it.

I quit after a short time because I had to be at the club the entire night and would only get paid sixty dollars plus tips. Tips paled in comparison to a private party so the whole gig wasn't worth it. At a private party, I only had to be there for thirty minutes to an hour and I earned a lot more than working at the club. If I was having a terrible time at the private party, I would just leave (which I rarely did). Most of the time, the women invited me to go out with them afterward.

I've heard of male dancers who did private parties for men for more money. The gay audience probably does pay a lot more money--my agent said so himself. However that's not my thing and money is not really an issue for me. If I were gay though, I'd probably be a rich man by now though! Women can get a bit too crazy, but it's usually the fun type of crazy and if it pushes my boundaries, then I let them know and they stop. But I rather liked it when women went a little crazy with me.

Q: So what do you do for fun? Do you throw wild parties or do you just chill?

A: I'm not Hugh Hefner. My normal life is...well, pretty normal. I read a lot, play video games, do a lot of outdoor activities. I also write. I did have some crazy times in college, but I'm a very laid-back guy. When I was in college stripping, I would often go home and play Everquest to wind down.

Q: How did you get into the profession?

A: It started when I was in college. A female classmate and I were killing time between classes (we had a few classes together). We went to a lingerie store that also booked male and female strippers. This store had a "Now Hiring Strippers" sign on the front door. All the store asked for was some photos for them to show to prospective clients. My classmate encouraged me to apply and said that she'd take photos of me.

I provided the photos and the owner of the store said I had to tag along with one of the veteran male strippers, and going by his word, the owner would then determine if she would hire me or not. The veteran male dancer I had to go with was a guy named Kevin from Jamaica. Another guy who applied as a male stripper came along too. Our objective was to be able to dance for the girls without getting cold feet. Kevin started dancing for the women and I soon followed. The other guy froze in place and couldn't do it. So I was the one who got hired.

After doing many shows, I perfected my routine, amassed a collection of costumes, and branched out to other agencies. I got an agent and even freelanced on my own. All in all, I earned quite a bit of money for a college student.

Q: What are the prerequisites for being a stripper? Do you need like a 10in cock? (no homo)

A: A good body and an appealing face. You should at least have some abs and muscle mass. You don't need a huge cock but it'd probably help. I had one agency ask how big my cock was. You're not required to be nude although some girls request it---it's your choice whether you want to take it all off or not.

It's not required but having costumes will exponentially help you get work. Quite a number of parties request a stripper with a police uniform. Just about every agency will ask you if you own any costumes. You'll also need your own cell phone and vehicle. Having access to Google-Map, Mapquest, or your own GPS is a must.
