Got a question about the profession?  Want to become a male stripper? Then check out my BOOK and the FAQ to make sure that I haven't already answered it.

If you have comments or just want to talk, then I'll be happy to indulge you. I try to answer every e-mail, but if I don't respond, shoot me another one as a reminder.

If you want to book me for a show, contact me and put "Male Stripper Booking" in the subject line of the e-mail. Give the date, time, and location of your party. My rates vary depending on travel distance. I usually cover the areas of southern Alabama, northwest Florida, and southeast Mississippi, but have occasionally traveled further.

I rarely accept any modeling work anymore, but feel free to ask anyway. The worst I can say is "no."

With all that said, here is my e-mail:

malestripperdion@gmail.com

or for those who are e-mailing at work and don't want the name "stripper" in the e-mail, you can e-mail this one instead:

    1. You're probably too young, even if you turn 18. But, if you got the right looks, then you may have a shot when you turn 18.

At strip clubs and such, you fill out an application and audition on the spot. But that application is going to ask you several of the things that I listed on my profile. It really depends on where you apply.

  2. Hi Dion,

What I am curious about: What have you learnt about women through your profession that actually surprised you? What have you learnt that you would not have known before working as a stripper?

(To give an example: I am now in my mid thirties. What I really did not know as a teenager - and would have helped me to know at that time - about girls/women was that they can be just as horny as men. Noone had told me this back then, and I got quite a bit more relaxed approaching women when I finally came to this realization.)

    1. Mark,

Your example is a perfect one. I learned that some women hire male strippers out of sexual desire. I also learned that women act completely different when there are no men around. Just as men fart and go to strip clubs when there are no women around, women get naked, compare each others' breasts, touch each others' breast, etc.

There's also a more complicated social dynamic with women than men, meaning more gossip, back-biting, and factions when the girls aren't so close. However, when the girls have real friendships, you'll see a collective sense of comradery that is enviable.

I also learned that you don't need a wingman if the women like you. They'll even try to hook you up with one of the single girls in the audience, even encouraging her to sleep with you.

  3. Hey Dion I'm currently a 17 year old and i turn 18 in about 4 months. I can't wait to get out of my parents' house. I plan on moving to California for college and I'm pretty interested in dancing. I'm bi and I heard guys at gay clubs make easy money really quick. I'm not doing this as a career just something to support myself through college. I'm just worried about not being .. lets say "skilled' enough. I know you say being 18 its gonna be hard to be a dancer but i still have to try. Will i have to be good at dancing? Because I honestly cannot dance well but i know how to move my body and out on a show well ( not trying to brag ).

    1. 18 is not a problem at gay clubs; it's more of a problem with women. You should be fine as long as you have the looks.

    2. Ok, that's good to know . Another thing is do male strippers dance flaccid or erect? I'm kinda nervous about being... hard? while dancing ig, i find myself not being able to control that.

    3. Depends on your audience. Bachelorette parties, it's usually flaccid unless they request more. Your gay club is usually flaccid, though the crowd probably wouldn't mind otherwise.

  5. Hey Dion,

I'm 24 Years Old and I've been curious about getting into the industry

Only Hang up I have is do you have to be well endowed to become a male stripper AND are most strippers well endowed? I'm content with my size, but at the same time I'm not sporting around a 10+ Inch dong lol and was wondering what the norms and preferences are in the Male stripping world.

    1. My book covers your first question with a few of the answers from agents themselves. The main thing size helps with is your personal confidence, but with some guys, that's not really an issue.

Regarding your 2nd question, I really can't say. I don't go around looking at other male strippers' dicks.

  6. Hey Dion. What advice would you give to an 18 year old college student who does not know how to dance but wants to become a male stripper to build up confidence?

    1. My question to you is this: What do you have to offer customers? Would they choose you over a veteran stripper who can already dance and put on a good show?

My advice to you is to work on what you can provide customers, rather than what you can provide for yourself. You need to make yourself MARKETABLE.

  7. Hey Dion.

I'm a 28 year old guy that will be leaving the military in about 6 months (so I'm in pretty good shape). I'm told that I have a good-looking face and I get looks from women often. I don't really strike out much at bars.

With that said, I'm only 5'6.

Stripping interests me though. Would you suggest that I don't pursue it because of my height?

    Joe
